Major League Baseball Foot Injury Update

Few injuries this week!
Baltimore Orioles
Troy Patton, SP
Patton is expected to be activated off the disabled list today. Patton pitched an instructional league game over the weekend and reported no issues.
Boston Red Soz
David Ortiz, DH
Out for season.
Cleveland Indians
Roberto Hernandez, SP
Hernandez threw an extended bullpen session Tuesday as he continues to recover from a sprained right ankle. Manager Manny Acta said Hernandez will be re-evaluated over the next few days.
Cleveland Indians
Rafael Perez, RP
Perez has suffered a setback in his recovery from an ankle injury and is out for the season.
Milwaukee Brewers
Corey Hart, 1B
Hart was out of the line-up for the eighth time on Wednesday with plantar fasciitis. He is still having problems running the bases.
New York Yankees
Pedro Feliciano, RP
Feliciano, who was rehabbing from rotator cuff surgery, sprained his ankle while on a rehab assignment, likely eliminating his chance to return this season.
Pittsburgh Pirates
Gustavo Nunez, SS
No update on Nunez.
San Diego Padres
Cameron Maybin, CF
Maybin sustained an Achilles injury on Sunday and was out of the line-up on Wednesday. He has soreness in his left Achilles tendon and is considered day to day.
Texas Rangers
Mike Olt, 1B
No update on Olt.
Toronto Blue Jays
Edwin Encarnacion, 1B
Encarnacion has a toe injury and has been out of the line-up since Sunday.
